ViewBoard Basics: Use AirSync to Wirelessly Screenshare

What is AirSync?

ViewSonic’s AirSync lets you easily wirelessly connect and share content from your laptop* to a ViewSonic Interactive Display, without any cables.

Please note that AirSync was formerly called "MyViewBoard Display." To update this app to AirSync, simply select it to start the update process and transition to AirSync.
vCastSender isn't compatible with Google Apps. As a result OIIT is not able to support it. For wireless screenshare, please use AirSync with your ViewSonic Interactive ViewBoard.

What features can I use with AirSync?

AirSync is great to quickly connect your laptop and project. Quickly connect and disconnect.

How do I use it?

There are two ways you can use AirSync: (1) the AirSync Web Sender or (2) the AirSync Sender App

AirSync Web Sender

You can share screens via the AirSync website. There is no need to install additional software. To share over the internet:

  1. Open a web browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Safari, etc.)
  2. Connect to the following URL https://airsync.net/ to start sharing.

AirSync Sender App

The AirSync Sender supports several platforms. Download the version that matches the Operating System (OS) of your target device.

*AirSync will work best on a BPS-issued device. For any network connection issues, please contact BPSTechnology at 617-635-9200
