How to update data sharing opt-outs in Aspen

1 The first step is to open Aspen and click the Student tab.

2 Click the name of the student to view their details page.

3 Click the Misc tab.

4 Check off a box if the parent has requested to opt-out of one of the releases. You can also hover your mouse over the blue circle to read the full text of the opt-out.

5 Click Save and the update will be saved. This information is carried over from year-to-year so there is no need to make updates unless a parent requests a change.
