How to view an Individual Student's Grade Point Average (GPA)

Student Grade Point Average (GPA)

From the School view in Aspen (sis.mybps.org)

  1. Click on the Student top tab
  2. Click on the Transcript side tab
  3. Click on the Grade Point Summary sub-tab.
  4. Select the appropriate GPA definition from the GPA drop-down list
  5. Select the appropriate Grade Term from the Grade Term drop-down list

Navigate to the Student top tab>Transcript side tab>Grade Point Summary sub-tab

What you see

School Year/Grade GPA and Total GPA Section

For each school year, the page displays all of the information the system uses to calculate the student’s GPA for that year. After School year and Grade Level, the next three columns display the number of points the student earned on his or her transcript, any adjusted points, and total points. To the right of these, the next three columns display the number of transcript courses, any adjusted courses, and the total number of courses.

Course Breakdown Section

The Course Breakdown section shows the breakdown of points the student earned for each course in his/her transcript.

Information included: School year, student grade level, Course number, Course Description, Academic Level, Grade Column, Grade, Points (calculated grade points) and weight
