Creating a Snapshot

ASPEN has a feature that stores a list of IDs called snapshot. This feature only retains the list of IDs not any data that was related/existed at the time the snapshot was created. Only the data currently available to date will appear.

Snapshots can be created in either the Staff or Student top tab.

  1. Filter the students or staff you want to create a snapshot for
  2. Click Options > Snapshots...
  3. Click + New
  4. Name the Snapshot (you can check the box to save as a filter, and filter will be created)
  5. Click Save
Going to Option > Snapshots... you can find the saved list of students\staff. Click the radio button next the named Snapshot you want and then click the Use button.
