How to update language settings in ParentSquare

ParentSquare uses Google translation software to translate content and allow parents to receive and send communications in their preferred language. Parent languages are updated from the SIS until a parent logs in and changes their preferred language. Once a language preference has been made, it will no longer sync with the SIS. If a district/school admin changes the parent language preference, that too will remain and not be updated by the sync.

ParentSquare allows families to change their language setting to receive posts, messages, and other communications in their preferred language. 

  1. From Home, click the down arrow next to your name, in the upper right.
  2. Select My Account.
  3. Click on Language Settings in the left hand sidebar.
  4. Select your preferred language from the drop down menu and click Save.
