How to access Panorama Solara

Rhianon Gutierrez Updated by Rhianon Gutierrez

What is Solara? Who has access?

Solara, a purpose-built generative AI platform designed specifically for K-12 educators, is directly linked to your student data in Panorama Student Success. You can use Solara to make data-based decisions, summarize student performance, set goals, and more.

Access is currently limited. If you do not see a green starburst logo for Solara Chat in your Panorama Student Success platform, you do not currently have access.
Central office and school-based administrators and student-facing instructional and support staff with Panorama Student Success access must complete training before being granted access to Solara since it contains student data. Please see Training Options below.

What does it include?

  • Ready-made prompts and tools to create lesson plans, rubrics, grade-level texts, and more
  • Educators can manage their own set of tools, while authorized administrators can publish or remove tools districtwide
  • Draft resources for individual students such as IEPs, attendance nudge letters, and behavior improvement plans

How do I access Solara?

  1. Go to Clever and sign in with your BPS Gmail.
  2. Under Staff Links, select Panorama.
  3. Once in Panorama, click “Applications,” then “Student Success.”

  1. You will then see the green Solara logo icon at the top right of your screen, click there to access Solara.
  1. When you log in, you will land on the Solara Chat. This is your generative AI chat, integrated with your district’s SIS & assessments and built within Panorama’s safe and controlled environment. Feel free to start a conversation, or use a tool in the Tool Library.

You can add a student, or upload documents to personalize and customize the response!

Tool Library

Built on K-12 research and best practices, Solara includes a library of ready-made AI-powered tools that are designed specifically for educators and administrators, ensuring relevant, high-quality results that align with school and district priorities.
