Safe Mode on Windows Device

Safe Mode can vary for PC machine but this is generally the most commmon way
  1. During the booting phase hold down Windows key and tap the letter R

  1. Choose "Troubleshoot."
    There is a chance that a Safe Mode menu could be provided here so follow the number values to choose a Safe Mode
  2. Select "Advanced Options" in Troubleshoot.
  3. Select "Startup Settings" from the Advanced Options menu.
  4. Click "Restart" in Startup Settings.
  5. Choose a Safe Mode by pressing the corresponding number, the number 5 option should be with Safe Mode with networking which will allow internet connections
The below will need to be entered in Command Prompt for CrowdStrike issue on 7/19/2024, will need to be an admin to the machine

Navigate to the folder

  1. C Drive > Windows > System32 > Drivers > CrowdStrike
  2. Serach C-00000291
  3. Delete the file
It may take a couple of tries
