How to view and print student Athletic Program records

From the Athletics side tab, you can use Aspen Filters and Quick Print to print a list of students.

Navigation: School view>Programs top tab>Athletics side tab

Find the records

  1. Click on the Programs top tab
  2. Click on the Athletics side tab
  3. Click on the Filter Menu
  4. Select appropriate Filter
Filters with ?: filters with a question mark are prompted filters. When you select one of these filters a popup window will open. You will enter in the criterion you wish to find.

The fields that will print will be those fields in the current fieldset. You may want to create a new fieldset if you wish to include information that is not in the current or existing fieldsets. Click on Quick Print (printer icon) to print the found records.

Web Page (HTML)

Printing to a Web Page will print the results in the found set. It will print the fields in the current fieldset. Records will be sorted by the current sort order.

TXT

Printing to a Text will print the results in the found set. It will print the fields in the current fieldset. Records will be sorted by the current sort order.

A new window will open

To save the file, use the shortcut CTRL S (PC)/Command S (Mac) or right-click (PC)/Control-click (Mac) and select "Save as"

Save the file.

After saving, you may open the file with another application (Notepad, TextEdit, Excel, etc).

CSV

Printing to a Text will print the results in the found set. It will print the fields in the current fieldset. Records will be sorted by the current sort order.

You will be prompted to Open or Save the file:

If Open is selected, the file may automatically open in Excel or you may be prompted to select the application to use to open the file.

If Save as is selected, you will be prompted to give the file a name and you may change the file's saved location (the Save location defaults to your Downloads folder). After saving, you may open the application (Excel, etc) and then, from the application select to file with another application (Excel, etc).

  1. Open Excel
  2. Select to Open a file
  3. Navigate to where you saved the file (by default the Downloads folder)
  4. In the lower-left, make sure All files is selected in the file type drop-down
  5. Select the file
